Governance structure

Our system for preventing and combating corruption forms an integral part of corporate governance and is built into our management processes.

At all governance levelsRussian Railways’ Order No. 2051/r dated 16 September 2019., we appoint responsible persons to coordinate work on preventing and combating corruption offences.

Russian Railways extends unified anti‑corruption activity standards to controlled entities. To that end it approved the following:

• clear criteria for determining controlled entities to which our internal anti‑corruption documents should apply;
• list of legal entities to which our internal anti-corruption documents applyRussian Railways’ Order No. 2063/r dated 22 September 2021.;
• list of such documents.

We conduct regular monitoring of anti‑corruption work in these entities to assess the effectiveness of activities aimed at preventing and combating corruption.
